Responding To Revelation

“For the turning away of the simple will slay them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them."

(Proverbs 1:32, NKJV)

Does God’s revelation scare you? I think there were times when I am scared out of my wits. God’s revelation is not meant to scare us but to prepare us for what's to come. You can trust God to show you the next step. God’s promise is designed with destiny and purpose in mind. He will never give you more than you are able to handle. 1 Corinthians 10:13. His grace, strength, and power will help you to perfect his plan and fulfill his purpose in your life. God will give you a seamless revelation that may seem impossible, but all things are possible with God. Mark 9:23. Abraham received a revelation that was seamless. Genesis 12. Moses received a revelation that was seamless. Exodus 3. Noah received a revelation that was seamless. Genesis 6:13-22. You may say. “that was then. The word of God points us to today from Genesis to Revelation. There is so much to learn from the experiences of those called by God and has gone before us.

Like Sarah who received a revelation of promise, Genesis 17, God is speaking to us through revelation of his voice and his word. You may fear whatever the experience, but God is with you in every aspect of your life. He has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7. He knows you would fear or try to give up. He knows we would doubt our abilities. God is our helper and he will send or give you the help you need to carry out his plan. He will never leave you alone on the journey. Seek God’s wisdom in every revelation. Speak to him about your fears and doubts. Ask him for an understanding heart and a willing spirit to proceed. Seek to know the truth in his word. Don't allow discouragement to leave you complacent. Ask God to give you confidence and to give you his strength in all that you do. God will enable and empower you into your purpose and destiny.

Today, is there something you’re putting off that God has called you to do? Something you know in your heart that you are destined to do? Don’t let the season of God’s grace for the promise miss you by holding on to limiting thoughts. Don’t allow complacency to steal your destiny. Your destiny stands before you. God has something amazing in your future. Be bold, be strong. Step out in faith, be obedient, and embrace the good things God has in store for you! He is a God of promise.

Father, thank You for the grace to do exactly what you’ve called me to do. I choose to step out in faith; I choose to follow Your commands. I choose to be faithful because I know that You are faithful. I love you and bless you today and always. Amen.
